Purpose: This one-year CSC provides extensive and immersive skill development in machine technology, computerized numerical control and machine blueprint reading. All courses fit within the parent program for students to continue to the AAS with completion of general education courses and advanced courses in precision machining techniques.
Occupational Objectives: Completion of the CSC leads to entry-level opportunities in the high-demand metal working industry in machine operations and CNC.
Admission Requirements: Applicants should meet the general requirements for admission to the college. Placement tests may be required in some areas.
