G3 Eligible Program: The G3 Program is a tuition assistance program for any Virginia resident who qualifies for in-state tuition and whose family income falls below an identified threshold. For more information, visit www.nr.edu/g3.  

Purpose:  This AAS degree will create opportunities and build pathways to high-skilled and high-wage cloud computing careers for students. The degree is offered as a collaborative effort between the VCCS and Amazon Web Services (AWS). As more companies rely on cloud technology, this program trains students on the infrastructure and services of cloud computing, information storage and management, and installation and configuration of virtual infrastructures. Upon completion of the program, students are employable as cloud software engineers, cloud sales executives, cloud developers, cloud systems administrators, cloud consultants, and cloud network engineers.

Admission Requirements: Applicants should meet the general requirements for admission to the college. Placement tests may be required in some areas.
