Purpose:  This career studies certificate leads to entry-level employment in the electrical power field and renewable energy field. This curriculum provides foundational knowledge in basic electrical concepts, safety, installation and wiring in the power industry.  Upon completion of the career studies certificate, students are employable as electrician’s helpers and entry-level wiring technicians.

Admission Requirements: Applicants should meet the general requirements for admission to the college. Placement tests may be required in some areas.
