Purpose: This career studies certificate program provides operational skills training in electrical and mechanical service and repair applications. The curriculum provides a broad range of experiences in industrial service and repair shops. The curriculum includes courses in D.C. & A.C. fundamentals, machine technology, industrial wiring methods, and welding fundamentals. Upon completion of the program, students are employable in technician-level positions such as building maintenance technicians, factory maintenance technicians, industrial engineer technicians, maintenance mechanics, and property/real estate managers.
Admission Requirements: Applicants should meet the general requirements for admission to the college. Placement tests may be required in some areas.
