Prerequisite(s): JPN 101, or two years of successful completion of high school Japanese, or demonstrated experiential learning, or by placement test, or equivalent.
Introduces cultural awareness, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic sentence structure. This is a UCGS transfer course. Lecture 4 hours per week.
